Lauren is a music lover and has been playing piano for as long as she can remember! Whilst she began her music career leaning classical piano, she fell in love with jazz piano where she completed Grade 8 in Jazz Piano from London College of Music. Lauren has been part of music ensembles and is excited to share her love of piano with Revelstoke.
With plenty of experience working with children of all years from after school childcare, she has taught children of all ages along with adults.
Outside of work, Lauren loves to soak up all the natural beauty Revelstoke has to offer - as coming from the UK these mountains still don’t feel real yet!
She looks forward to tailoring lessons to how best suits your style of learning, to ensure the most enjoyable learning experience together.
Lauren will be teaching: Piano.
Her rate is $35/half-hour.

Vanessa is a lifelong music enthusiast, with Royal Conservatory of Music grade 8 piano and grade 2 theory certifications under her belt. A love of singing has led her to the Thunder Bay Symphony Orchestra chorus, the Lakehead University Vocal Ensemble and the Revelstoke Community Choir. To boot, she dabbles in guitar, ukulele, and fiddle; some more successfully than others! She is excited about the benefits of music education for young kids, and the joy of making music together. She looks forward to using stories, songs and games to introduce you and your child to the language of music!
Vanessa will be teaching: 'Sunrise' Music for Young Children Programs
Her rate is $25/class

Jen is a longtime Revelstoke local and has been teaching music- both private and group piano lessons for over 20 years. She has completed Royal Conservatory grade 9 piano, music history and theory as well as the Royal Conservatory elementary piano teacher specialist certification. She has also completed all levels of Music for Young Children training. Jen has a love for singing as well and has been involved in choirs, ensembles and solos all her life.
Jen has four kids ages 5-19 and has extensive experience working with kids of all ages. When she's not teaching you'll find her enjoying Revy's beautiful outdoors, drinking coffee and working in her little flower farm. She is thrilled to be bringing the joy and fun of learning music to preschool aged kids through the MYC program at the Sound Cellar this year!
Jen will be teaching: Piano, and 'Sunrise' Music for Young Children Programs
Her rate is $35/half hour for piano, and $25/preschool class

Philippe started teaching 20 years ago in Montreal. He completed his Master’s degree in performance at the Montreal Conservatory of Music. He has played in multiple music venues and festivals across Canada including Toronto Music Festival, National Arts Centre in Ottawa, Orford Arts Centre and Banff Arts Centre. He toured across China, Germany and United States. Mostly focused on classical music, Philippe also plays some jazz and pop.
Philippe will be teaching: Cello
His rate is $45/half-hour or $50/45min

Francisco "Bambino" Arancibia.
Professional bass player and guitar player, Originally from Chile, Francisco has been part of many different bands along his career path.
Rock, blues jazz and funk styles are his personal favorites. He joined one of the famous rock bands in Chile called "Aguaturbia" as well as founded his own Rock project called "Engranaje".
In Revelstoke he plays with "Beef dip", that's almost releasing a new album and also he play bass with "Sweetgrass Caribou". Rock blues band from town.
He very excited to start teaching at the Sound Cellar and sharing his experience and knowledge with the community.
Bambino will be teaching: Guitar and Bass
His rate is $40/half-hour

Paddy is a self taught guitarist with experience playing in a variety of styles, from classical fingerstyle, to gentle campfire strumming, to fast and technical heavy metal riffs. He holds a strong passion for learning all kinds of music and would love to help you learn your favourite song or work on different techniques to progress your guitar playing to the next level.
Paddy will be teaching: Guitar and Bass
His rate is $30/half-hour

Patrick is our percussion and drum teacher, focusing on drumset development for all ages. He has taught students as young as 5yrs old and up to and over 50 yrs old. His methods incorporate specialized technique, rudimentary development and he tailor fits the lesson to each students needs, strengths and individuality.
He is a certified teacher in BC, Ontario and the UK. He has studied under many percussion teachers, including the drummer for the Five Man Electrical Band.
Patrick has been playing percussion for over 25 yrs with a focus on drumset dynamics, rudimentary training, snare drum mechanics as well as audio production. He is a well versed, dynamic player with a program based in fundamentals and basics as well as continuing learning and development. Patrick's tailor-fit lessons ensure that each student reaches their full potential.
